Some of the common causes of back pain are: wrong posture, lifting heavy objects, uncomfortable chairs, too high or too low desks as well as many others. Even the use of a keyboard and a mouse in the wrong position when repeated over and over can result in back injury and therefore back pain.
We wanted to give you some simple tips to help you when you experience back pain at work:
- Try to maintain your regular activity level whenever possible.
- Review your working environment to see what is bringing about the problem and if it can be easily remedied; if so fix it.
- Come to see a chiropractor, taking painkillers can relieve back pain for a while but doesn’t find and resolve the actual cause. With back pain the wrong thing to do is ignore it.
We are here to help you, if needed we can assist you in using your work insurance, if you are anywhere in the Minneapolis area we can help you.
Chiropractor’s tip of the week – Loading and unloading vehicles

Always stretch before loading or unloading a vehicle, especially if you have just been driving for a while.
